Mineto Kanai aka Waterprotection, was born in Japan, 1973. He formed Nordform - a platform that seeks to marry music, design, space & visuals in 2001. He established himself as a producer in 2002. 2002 also saw Mineto participating in Gigei, as Nordform..s Art Director. Gigei is a massive festival, focusing on Japan..s art scene. 2003 saw the first cd compilation from artists, represented by Nordform. This featured a track by Mineto. In 2004, Mineto launched the Cafetronik events, which have seen Mineto perform live with artists such as Jeff Milligan. He has also played live, alongside Deadbeat & Pole. He has also worked as vj for label tours in Japan and Artists such as Deadbeat.
